# Fotokite Sigma Plus

Fotokite Sigma Plus is an evolution of the existing Sigma platform and includes updates to GPS performance, flight stability, hardware components, and optional thermal imaging capabilities. Fotokite Sigma Plus was introduced in January 2026.

Sigma Plus includes several hardware and performance updates intended to improve reliability and stability during extended deployments:

* Enhanced GPS performance with better GPS signal reception
* Improved thrust control for increased flight stability
* Refined carbon frame design
* Updated gimbal assembly for improved payload stability
* Reinforced tether assembly component
* Battery system updated with additional integrated safety measures
