# Movement from the Ground Station

If you notice the Kite is drifting significantly during flight (greater than 2m) you should confirm that all sensors are properly functioning and that your EPH parameter (GPS precision) is below 2.00. This could be caused by either high wind pushing the Kite and should eventually be corrected. If it doesn't, it’s recommended to land the Kite.

On takeoff you should send the Kite to approximately 30 ft (9 m) for about 5 minutes and try to rise again and see if the issue persists. This will rapidly adjust the state estimate of the Kite which should solve the issue. If the issue continues to occur, power cycle the full system by disconnecting the Ground Station from power (More detailed instructions on power cycle can be found in [Troubleshooting Checklists](/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-checklists.md#in-flight-troubleshooting-checklist)). Reconnect and let the kite sit at 30 ft (9 m) for 5 minutes again.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://manual.fotokite.com/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-flight-issues/movement-from-the-ground-station.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
