# Cannot Find Ground Station in System Connect

1. Make sure your Fotokite Tablet is within 150 ft (45 m) of the Ground Station and without any obstructions. Try to keep this distance at all times during operation of the Fotokite system.
2. If the Fotokite system was recently disconnected from power and reconnected, allow for at least two minutes for the Ground Station to initialize.
3. Check to make sure your Ground Station LEDs are lighting up and functioning when the system is powered. If the side LED’s are fading yellow, wait until all LEDs are green.
4. Once all systems are booted, the Fotokite system should appear in your System Connect Screen and should automatically connect.

If your Tablet is still unable to access the Ground Station WiFi network, contact Fotokite support.

{% hint style="info" %}
Please do not add additional networks to the Fotokite Tablet as it may cause priority connection issues.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://manual.fotokite.com/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-general-issues/cannot-find-ground-station-in-system-connect.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
